Dear Fellow vert owners
i own a 98 E36 vert
i need the cover that slides back and forth when the top goes up and down...(right passenger side, by the back right window) the plastic spring holder on the bottom of the cover broke, so the spring cannot ocnnect
does anyone have any of these laying around?

Look in the classifieds. Otherwise, you gonna need to order it from the stealer.

I had the same problem, but I have bored a new small hole and put the spring in there. No problem.
But the BMW dealer can order a new one for you. For my other E36-vert I have ordered 2 new covers (they are loosen) and the price was very acceptable (around 5 euro)
Only the guys at the BMW dealer couln't find it in the computer system, I have helped them with the part numbers with my illegal copy of the dealer ETK :-D

i was able to drill a hole and it works perfect
its a little tighter then the other one but it is fine
