Hey all,
I have a brand new, never installed Vorsteiner DVWP CSL trunk for sale. I only test fitted it. Here is my original thread about the DIY I starting writing up on the trunk: http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=113946 There are a few issues with it which a good bodyshop shouldn't have a problem fixing, or even yourself and a dremel/sandpaper. Also included is the wiring and rear license plate lights that are needed.
I am looking to get 500 dollars shipped (thats estimating about 100 dollars for shipping).
Heres a list of the issues I had with the trunk:
-The left light would not hook in along the edge of the trunk properly due to varying material thickness. This would easilybe corrected by sanding.
-The edge of the trunk that follows the bottom of the rear window also varries a bit, which might be magnified because of the uneven black primer used on the bottom of the trunk. This would also be easy to fix with some sanding.
-There was also some residue in the threads which I have already removed.
-One last thing I am guessing about is that the locking mechanism area might have to be sanded since this was an issue on most early DVWP Vorsteiner trunks.
I will be posting pics later tonight once my camera is done charging. Also the reason I am dumping it at such a low price is I am moving to North Carolina within the next month and need to clear out my parents garage. Thanks for looking
