looking for a reputable exhaust shop in ma, north shore area? have been to lou's exhaust in north reading with a previous car and was less than impressed with the work. actually quite dissapointed. not sure if i would trust them working on my 540. i need the cats replaced. i am looking to weld in some magnaflows.

I don't know of anywhere else. I usually use Lou's in N.Reading, and have been satisfied with them, but I have not had a full exhaust system done by them.

What where you not pleased with?

thet replace a flex pipe and cat. the person that did it used at least 4 peices of pipe not including the flex and cat. were only talking about 1 to 2 feet of pipe between the flex and cat. 4 paices of pipe. the welds were sloppy. and they leaked on top of the pipe in several places. it looked like peicework. one part of the pipe actually had hammer marks on it where they tried to flatten it so it wouldnt touch the underbody

how about any place in new england. has anyone had exhaust work done on their car that wasnt a dealership repair??????????

yes, lou's customs in lawrence.....:rolleyesthey're good. and not expensive.I've been in lou's waltham and although I didn't do anything yet, just went for a consultation on a friend's car, I had a good impression.

I have a TIG and I make custom stainless exhausts on the side.
