Does anyone with upgraded/replaces headlamps or lenses get fogged up in the rain?

I'm considering what to do with my headlight upgrade. I have some stock xenons but the lens is kinda scratched up so I was thinking about replacing the lens with something more updated. My only concern is that it will no longer be weatherproof and end up with a leak somewhere.

So my other alternative would be to purchase entire headlamp assemblies like those sold by umnitza but I have the same concern there as well since they are not OEM assemblies.

Thanks for sharing your experiences!

non-OE and OE assemblies can fog equally, it's all how you install them.

I just bought a 540i/6 and it has the upgraded Celis rears, and even those get a little misty when I wash the car. Not that this helps you.....

I silicone the crap outta my lenses when I replaced them to prevent fog issues. So far so good.

I leave my high beams on while i wash my car, and it prevents the foggy lens 100% of the time. I get a nasty fog when I don't leave the high beams on.
