^^

Of which we told you is too wide for the e36.

Dunno about M3's but the 328 sport came with 245 tyres on the 8.5 wider rear BBS RC042 wheels.

I am running 255/35/18's in the rear and all I had to do what slightly roll my fenders which was easy. I rented the proper tool from a local member for $50 and did the job in under half a day.

Word to the wise about rolling fenders: unless you sell your car to a fellow enthusiast it will hurt your resale value.

Hey German Pride 10, can you post some pics of your rolled fenders? I'm interested in doing this but want to see the result.

I wouldn't say so if it's done properly.

Eastfalls - You know how the sheetmetal on your rear fender wraps back into the wheel well and creates a "valley" that you can feel with your fingers when you grab up underneath the fender? You need to clean that out thouroughly first and basically all the roller does is press that "valley" almost shut.

Ah seen!

I always confuse rolling with flaring.

Supposedly in the UK, M3 and 328 Sports had rolled arches from factory. Never confirmed though.

I hate that inner lip as it only takes up space and is a dirt trap.

just about any modification will hurt resale value. at this point though, with most of these cars being at least 10 years old, its not that big of a deal.

i would think that 99% of non-enthusiast buyers and probably a huge chunk of enthusiast buyers wouldn't even notice rolled fenders.

Comin from the UK, i'll see if 18's will fit without rubbing later.
Im looking at getting a set on my '97 E36 vert so i'll see what the specialists say over here and let u know.

To the original poster..you never stated your requirements for the wider tire.

Is the original BMW recommended sizing not working out for you?
