View Full Version : New Wheels!!!
one more step in the long, expensive mod road.
These are new M5 replicas from Lakeshore wheel. Love em or hate em, you won't see that many E39's like this.
Next: new headlights, corners, springs...
ACS S3 05-27-2007, 02:57 AM I like it, if I had an e39 I would do exactly the same good choice man :)
lastprodigy 05-27-2007, 03:40 AM those look hot!

M3/4 LIFE 05-27-2007, 04:17 AM LOVE IT!!!! it makes the e39 look much newer. weird? but it does somehow.
Fuddy 05-27-2007, 04:35 AM e39's don't look right without a lip

Brewtech 05-27-2007, 07:23 AM I'm gonna call you Slickster cuz those wheels are slick!
Jerrysull2 05-27-2007, 07:53 AM OOOOOOHHHH!!
Pretty!!!!
What size are they?
WagOnBagz 05-27-2007, 11:24 AM usually dont like those wheels on e39's, but they look great on your car
19 inch wheels, staggered set up. The whole package delivered was about $1350 with general tires. It would have been about 2100 with michelins. I'll have to go look at the exact tire size, but i think they are 35 series in front, 30's in back. The general tires look and ride nicely, not disappointed at all, and almost half the price.
NORCAL/335i 05-27-2007, 01:59 PM e39's don't look right without a lip

NEVER2LOW 05-28-2007, 02:49 AM Nice! I had that same idea (I guess I will have to go back to the drawing board) and a fellow Az resident no less!
///M3Vader4dr 05-28-2007, 02:50 AM looks great!! :buttrock
Jason5driver 05-28-2007, 03:13 AM That is a very good choice in wheels and tires in my opinion!
How much do the wheels weigh?
How was the service with Lakeshore?
Jason
BKphoto 05-28-2007, 11:53 AM love the rim, just a little too big for my taste...an inch smaller would be perfect...my .02
azaytsev 05-28-2007, 12:06 PM very nice
98M3_4 05-28-2007, 07:17 PM nice, wheel looks even bigger since spokes go flush to the lip. Definitely a diff look
wheels are heavy, don't know the exact weight. Tires are 235/35, 265/30. Lakeshore said about 25 pounds for the wheels, but they felt heavier. I wasn't really looking for hi performance. Service was great, shipped within a few days and made to my doorstep within about 10 days. They had a fairly good selection of BMW style wheels, mpars etc.
