one more step in the long, expensive mod road.

These are new M5 replicas from Lakeshore wheel. Love em or hate em, you won't see that many E39's like this.

Next: new headlights, corners, springs...

I like it, if I had an e39 I would do exactly the same good choice man :)

19 inch wheels, staggered set up. The whole package delivered was about $1350 with general tires. It would have been about 2100 with michelins. I'll have to go look at the exact tire size, but i think they are 35 series in front, 30's in back. The general tires look and ride nicely, not disappointed at all, and almost half the price.

That is a very good choice in wheels and tires in my opinion!
How much do the wheels weigh?
How was the service with Lakeshore?

love the rim, just a little too big for my taste...an inch smaller would be perfect...my .02

wheels are heavy, don't know the exact weight. Tires are 235/35, 265/30. Lakeshore said about 25 pounds for the wheels, but they felt heavier. I wasn't really looking for hi performance. Service was great, shipped within a few days and made to my doorstep within about 10 days. They had a fairly good selection of BMW style wheels, mpars etc.
