You know I always figured that's what they came off of, but I though that X5s ran a FWD offset. These are also staggered so I'm not sure...

Hm.... I've been thinking of an E39 for quite a while, and I do have a nice 4dr E30 but... Hm....

I'll have to think about this :) I wasn't planning on getting anything soon. Where abouts in Beaverton? I'm in Tigard and could possibly come view this next week. The mileage is very high though (My 91 E30 will pass 122k this week). The engine is in great condition then? Any services needed that will be coming in the next 20k miles?

The E30 I have was in mint condition when I bought it two years ago. I hit a barrier this last winter and have rebuilt it myself. The fender and recently added side skirts are an off white compared to the Alpina, but I was replacing the front valance (the last damaged part) next month and was going to have it resprayed. The engine is in perfect condition at 122k, and the interior is very clean and well taken care of. Here are pictures of it:

I hope you get what you want for this car. My non-sport 97 with 132K on the clock is getting a respray right now do to vandalism. When I get it back I may sell it to buy an E34 540i6. I would be hoping to get around 10K for it considering the new paint and the mods it has. Good luck. I don't think the car is too reasonably over-priced. It really is very nice.:)

This is a really nice car for anyone interested. I took it for a drive and looked around at it and is taken care of very well. Just too high of miles for me personally - though it certainly doesnt reflect it's mileage.

I guess you no longer want the Land Cruiser huh? Were you looking into an FZJ80? Those are really cool! I took a drive in an LX450 the other day and although the interior was really ugly, it felt really tough and well-built. They're supposedly some of the best off-road vehicles ever with locking differentials and the right lift setup.

What do you mean I don't want it? There is one at a local dealer that I really want to pick up...
