I removed my rear seat belts while tidying up my interior. When I went to put them back in, they had retracted, but wouldn't extend. Anyone know how to release and extend these belts?

There's a cam that should release once they are completely retracted. S.A.B. 05-25-2007, 10:24 AM I removed my rear seat belts while tidying up my interior. I don't have an answer for you but for future reference, you know you can remove the upper and lower sections of the rear seat without touching the belts/mechanisms right? khenault 05-25-2007, 10:59 AM Figured it out. I had removed the top mounts. They need to be very close to level to extend. I unbolted the bottoms, bolted in the tops, and they extended no problem. DOH!!! S.A.B. 05-25-2007, 11:02 AM Good. |
