Try 3.91s if you think your first gear is a waste. ;)

Start launching from 5K.

And then we will see a "I think my clutch needs replacement" thread.

you guys use the clutch? fools! I just yank it out of gear and jam it into the next one. It sounds really cool and i've only gone through 3 transmissions in the last 4 months.

Don't lie, Hampton. You're always granny-shiftin', not double-clutchin' like you should.

You never had me. You never had your car.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=H8_usOvpbz8 I can actually shift my 4Runner without the clutch. Just gently pull it out of gear when I let off the gas and gently push it into the next one. It just gets sucked in when the revs drop to the right speed. There's no point in doing it though aside from impressing friends. I'm sure the synchros love it too.

Of course my bike has a real sequential tranny that snicks straight into the next gear.

What do you think synchros are for?? A) people who are too lazy to use the clutch.

Nobody uses a clutch these days.

Why even bother using first gear, just start in second.
