View Full Version : FS: '89 325is auto in NJ
e304lyfe 05-22-2007, 09:16 PM It's actually an '88, but a bumper swap was done so it looks just like an '89. It has around 155k miles.
Car is in excellent condition. I bought it from the original owner... Includes all usual iS options... Maplight mirror, iS front lip, etc. A/C blows cold.
Exterior:
A few dings here and there. No paintwork done on this car. No rust, accidents, etc. All body panels line up as they should.
Interior:
Crack free dashboard, seats are in good shape, but could be a little softer. No rips.
Mechanical:
Drives like it should.... No mechanical or electrical issues to speak of... Suspension is very tight, despite it being on stock springs. It is due for a timing belt and water pump. I have the parts, just haven't had the time to do it.
Car is currently riding on 15" european basketweaves that have good tires, but the rims could use some paint. I have original 14" basketweaves if these are preferred.
I have too many other projects to give this car the care it deserves.
$3700 obo.
Let me know if anyone has any questions. I am only available to show the car on weekends. I am located in Parsippany, NJ.

bmwpower 05-24-2007, 12:36 PM Do you have the records?
e304lyfe 05-24-2007, 05:03 PM Do you have the records?
No service records. But it is clear the car was maintained well before I owned it, and I have replaced everything it has needed since I have owned it, along w/ routine engine oil changes, etc.
runetang[1337] 05-29-2007, 10:34 PM thats pretty expensive, would you consider pricing it more in line with the year, model, and what the car is equipped with?
because you're asking for what an e36 325i in just as good shape, if not better, with similar mileage, if not less, would sell for. so im just saying, if it was like, $2k, then id be extremely interested :D

Clean carfax?
Original body panels and paint?
Can I get some shots of the underbody so get a feel for rust & exhaust holes?
I've bought 2 red e30's so far and a family member is in need of an auto and i'd love to pick up another clean example. Get back to me when you can :wave

I have never ran a carfax on the car, but I have no reason to question the PO (40ish year old woman... original owner). All vins match on the car and no paint or body work was done on the car as per what she said and my examination of the car.
I do not have under body pictures of this car, but it is clean. Exhaust on the car is good, as it passed emissions w/o any issues.

$2K, it's not an eta, lol. A nice condition e30 325 is worth more than a 325 e36 IMO.
Makintosh 08-10-2007, 04:37 PM $2500 let me know! :D
