It's time to replace my old jeep (http://www.audiforums.com/m_545742/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm#). I currently own an A4 a Jetta and a bmw. Heres the dilema, i'm torn between an X5 and an Audi allroad. standard tranny only. 3.0 in the BMW. 2.7 tt in the allroad. both have similar gas mileage estimates(which suck) and I really like the luxury of the X5 but have never driven an allroad. no dealer near me has one (pittsburgh). I would like some input from you guys that own X5s with 3.0 5 speeds The cars will be used and i'm concerned about leaking air bags etc. on an audi. Also whats your actual mpg. I drive 60miles a day to work and back plus weekends so it's a concern...thx

Do you want a station wagon or an SUV? Much different driving feel. A 5-Series wagon is more comparable to the all-road.

If you want standard tranny X5 is your answer. All-road isn't available with manual :D
I got 04' X5 with 6speed manual and my MPG is 14 city [heavy foot] and up to 22 highway [cruise control set at 80-90mph]
