Anyone up for drag racing at the california speedway? I'm going to go on sat most likely, so silverstreak can shut the hell up about me not running down the strip in the m3. Anyone else interested?

Tech inspection starts at 7 am, racing starts at 9. It is pretty easy to get around 4 runs in. I usually show up at 9, they tech until the afternoon.

What do you usually run there? Have you ever been to LACR (palmdale)? If so, how much faster is California Speedway?

My best is 14.5 at LACR. Altitude sucks.

I never ran there in the m3. The best I have ever run at cali speedway when I had a 330i was a 15.0 and it was very hot. The track is 1200 ft above sea level. How high up is LACR?

LACR has a little more grip, but it's also 3400ft above sea level. I may go on Sunday to CA Speedway, not sure yet. 50/50. I think there's also an event there on the 16th of March. That I might go to.
