Myself and a few others locally are looking to get ahold of a fender rolling tool. Preferably someone local, so we don't have to actually rent it, you know, deposit and shipping fees and all that - just come by and throw you 20-30 bucks a piece to use the thing real quick. If this sounds good to anyone, let me know.

If you can put together about $249 (plus shipping) you can buy an Eastwood roller. Find a heat gun (REQUIRED!) and I can show the best technique to assure no cracked paint.

Failing that, Hooligan Motors over on the south end on Main Street in Worcester will do it cheap, but they also need a serious lesson in the importance of it being a true "two-man" job. One for the heat gun, the other for the roller.

Thanks for the info guys, but i'm not looking to buy a roller, or have it done by someone else. Strictly DIY. If it turns out to be easy enough, and I do it wall, i may consider getting myself one.

I have one in NH with a heat gun that I don't mind people borrowing. It is at a friend's shop. He usually works Saturday so I could probably arrange some people coming in to the shop. Just have to toss him a couple bucks, but he should let us use the lift to make life easier (at least he let me).
