did you have to do any modifications to the speaker ports to fit those?

in an E36, the kick panels are 5 1/4 so they might need to be jigged a little. There is a lot of room down there though. I had these mounted for a few weeks in my IS300.

EDIT: actually they might mount to the rear of the kick panel so they wouldn't need to be cut out. Have to pull the kick panel to see.
