Up for sale is my 1997 M3 Coupe 5-speed. It is Alpinweiss III and has the dove grey (practically white) interior. It has the S52b32 in it and is OBD2 for those who are not sure. I bought it nearly bone stock and have done a few tasteful mods. It has 89,xxx on the clock right now and is in excellent condition. Always garaged and well-cared for.

Best of all, it has NO OBC ERRORS! (e36 owners know how remarkable that is)

AA Gen. 3 Catback with less than 2k miles on it
DEPO gen. IV projectors with predator chromium angel eyes (Umnitza GB)
Prolumen HID (6000k) with less than 20 hours on the bulbs

Not even a concours e36 w/ 90k miles will bring 17k. Made and offer and seller's didn't even counter, just walked away. Very rude and unprofessional.

In all fairness, I'd spoken to this guy on the phone last week. He told me he didnt have $17k and that he found a silver M3 for somewhere around the price of $13k. Told him to buy it. He called me back yesterday to come look at the car and again I told him that I was willing to work on the price, but would not drop it substantially. On my asking price of $16,900 his remark was "the car isnt worth any more than $13k"

A 25% price drop is substantial in my book. I do appreciate you being honest about the condition of the car, nvfence. Best of luck finding the right M3.

What other parts have been replaced other than mods? ie typical E36 maintenance issues: radiator, pump, wiring changes, etc.

power steering pump was replaced. The water pump on this build date has a metal impeller, so it does not go out quickly like the earlier m3s with the platic impeller. The only wiring change is the angel eyes have been wired into the parking light circuit, but can easily be changed back.

A car IS only worth what someone will pay for it, book values and such are nice but really shouldn't be given all the pull they get. Like the guy saying this car is worth $13k. Turkey. Someone will pay a lot more for this car.
