check with bimmerworld, they may have some scrubs (if that's what you are looking for) and they should be close to you.

I assume new ones? I've ordered from both Edge Racing and Vilven tire. One is in Miami the other in Chicago. (I think)

I've heard some of the BMWCCA club racers talk about Edge Racing. I think their prices are very competitive.

I need some 275 35 18 but I am finding alot of places are sold out.

I have heard the Nitto NT01 are similar. Any sources for those?

I just got a set of the NT01 245/45/17 and it took almost 3 weeks to get them (dispite them being "in stock")..seems to be a very popular tire and on back order a lot

I got to give Bryan Shackelford a plug. He's in Arizona but ships all over. Prices are always less than anywhere else I look. His service just as good as his prices. Bryan is often at the local Club races so he understands us little guys. He can be reached at (480) 421-8270 He's a good man that I try to support as much as I can.

I second that. Phil's a great guy!

I would recommend Radial Tire:

Radial Tire is located at:
9101 Brookville Rd
Silver Spring, MD 20910
Phone: 301-585-2740

They are a major Toyo Tire distributor for the East Coast.
Gives discounts to BMWCCA, Audi, and Porche club members.

Very good prices.
I buy all of my tires from them.
They are quiet busy if you need the tires installed and want to wait. Expect 2 - 3 hr wait times.

Yeah, they still seem to have the lowest prices for full-depth RA-1s.

be careful when ordering from Edge, while I have no personal experience I have had friends who got tires "new" from them that were 1-2 years old. Not sure its a huge deal for most, but something to keep in mind.

I had an unpleasant experience with Edge Racing on Monday. I had ordered a set of RA-1s the previous Monday and was calling to check on the status of delivery. After waiting on hold for a while I get to talk to a live person. He tells me that the RA-1s are out of stock and that they had tried to call me several times and they had sent out multiple emails. I had received no email other than the initial order confirmation and had no messages left on my voicemail.

Long story short, they were not completely honest with what they said...

The unfortunate part is I had purchased from them in the past and had been a satisfied customer.

The source I know of for the NT01s is DiscountTireDirect.com

For every ones information, Discount has sold out of 235/40R17s. Per the CSR I spoke with yesterday, there are none coming in anytime soon :confused

Theres got to be alternate sources for NT01s..

OK
I have been out of town for a few days. While I was gone my tires arrived. Much to my dismay, they are full tread depth. I know I asked for shaved tires when I ordered them. Now I am screwed. Monday is a holiday (Memorial Day) and I am heading to the track thursday after work. Does anyone know if Radial Tire in MD is open on Saturdays?

They are open on Sat, first half of the day. I would get there early (like 7 am and be the first in line). See Paul or Sam, they'll take care of you.

I don't need tires mounted and balanced. I just need the right tires. I don't even know if they have shaved in stock.

AFAIK, they shave them, I am pretty sure Paul (the owner) does it.
