You don't really have a box with the stealth boxes so that's what the shop told me to get and they work better than any other sub without an enclosure.

Also known as IB (Infinite Baffle) or Free-Air Subs. which dont require a certain bandpass or sealed enclosure volume to operate effectively.

So essentially what you would be buying is stealthbox housings with the JL woofers having been replaced with a Kicker 8" sub of the same design...

Not a problem. Why did you opt to replace the JL woofers with the Kickers (just curious..)?

When I got them one of the JL's was blown. I got kicker because at that time they were the only ones available from the shop and they sound really got.

I never said they were JL stealth boxes, when I got them they came with JL's another member sold them to me a while back. I paid thinking they were. But you know how it is in here....

I got a few PM's asking about the units but I tell them that they are not JL's housings. I have been in this forum for a very long time and I don't want to sell stuff that is not what I advertise.
