Nice! Me and my roommate go wheeling all the time. He has a lifted ford ranger that he likes to beat on more than he should.
I can only find one pic, it is before he lifted it.

Lets just say you didnt want to smash the gas pedal down. i did it once and thought the jeep was going to fall apart from the nobs on the tire spinning on the ground. and top speed was like 40 on it otherwise not to safe. Took almost 2.5 days to drive it to florida where my buddy moved to that owned the thing. it is normally a 1.5 days to get there.

LOL i know the feeling i have TSLs on my truck and you can feel each lug hit the ground. It shakes like crazy at 50-65 and thats about all i will drive with this set of tires. Im thinking about throwing my trasted baja t/a's on so i can drive highway speeds again

I'm just getting into the 4 wheeling scene. I have a '94 YJ, lifted up 3.5", 33's, tube fenders, comp cut. I'm going SOA by next summer along with full width axles and at least 37" tires. :)

Here is a pic of the jeep as it sits now.

I do a little, don't have any very good pictures of the work horse. It's been in the family since new.

'73 dodge ram, plow/winch and custom 2 tone paint ;)

I recently went mudding and had a girls volleyball team wash it, they really enjoyed it!

Boosted do you know a mark that drove a lifted chevy? Because I think we went camping with you like 3-4 years ago also a guy named Billy Bob. I was asking because your truck looks so familiar I was actually thrown from this truck that looked like your while the guy was going thru a mud pit. Also was wacked in the head a couple time's by brach's and what not trying to protect a girl from getting hit it was me and a model in the back of the truck and he also got wacked in the head haha. My back was all torn up from flying out of the back of this truck. Well I like to go wheeling and know of alot of people who do. Don't talk to much of them really anymore but I could get ahold of them and we could plan something. Maybe if it was you and you don't remember what I'm talking about also in that same trip billy bob and one of his friend's stole a guy's four wheeler and then alot of the red necks were going after that guy who they took it from with shot guns and shit lol. Nothing happened the guy was drunk and didn't care they flipped his 4 wheeler and bent the shit out of the handle bars. Well if it wasn't you hope you have as much fun on your wheeling trip's as everyone did on that one. It was on a back trail in castle rock sadalia or something like that I think.

Cant say i know any people with the name billy or billy bob lol My truck wasnt lifted or even running 2 years ago. It broke about 3 years ago and sat in my grandmas back yard for 3ish years. Thats a crazy story tho. Any good trails down by castle rock? I have only been around this area. I run carnage canyon a bunch and johhny park/bunce school more then anything.

the truck 2-3 years ago before getting parked.

I swear that is the truck but if you say it wasn't you then it wasn't you. Not to sure if it was Castle Rock haha. After I got thrown out I couldn't really remember anything so not to sure where it was all I remember was it was a private road and we pretty much broke in but the trails were bad ass. The people I went with were four wheeling over huge boulder's it was like a road of bouders and they were climbing them it was awesome. But yea if I recall there are alot of trails in Castle Rock, also alot of good trails in Elizabeth and Parker too. Left hand Canyon have you ever been there? That is also a good trail in Boulder. It would be cool if we could get a Colorado group together and go camping or even a cruise in the mountains with all the Bimmer's. I see alot of nice BMW's here in Colorado but every person I see is either an old lady or really old man. Recently I have seen a few younger people with them. But anyways yea it was a pretty crazy night. A bunch of drunk ass red neck's some pretty fine girl's that were down for a gang bang lmao. And some other pretty funny campers and a Model that was complaining because he got wacked in the face and had a cut and had to go take modeling pic's the next day. Everyone was so drunk and that was the 1st and last time I ever went 4 wheeling but I'd like to do it again. Also I might be able to get some people together that wheel that I haven't talked to in awhile if you would like to go wheeling with a group sometime. Well have fun and be safe.

I really dont fit the redneck profile and i doubt any of my friends do either. Most are either AF metro looking or tats and piercings. I have only wheeled bunce, lefthand carnage, johnny park, middle stvrain, some trail in jamestown i cant remember(last 2 with my dad before i could drive)

Id be down to do some wheeling forsure...as long as you bring the hotties wanting the gang bang lol Im going to be up in jonny park this week if you guys wanna wheel/stop by for a beer or something. I plan on stopping the wheeling early tho.

I know I am dragging up an old thread here, but I'm a new BMW Owner. Bought a 2003 Z4 in October. I am an avid offroader and part of the National Toyota association TLCA, Local Toyota 4WD club Rising Sun and part of the state association colorado4x4. My club volunteers several days a year to the forest service in reclaiming trails that have been abused and just doing clean up. We were on 9news in August for the Jenny Creek effort near Rollins pass.

I also am the moderator for the 80 series Land Cruiser section on IH8MUD.com.

4 wheeling is a family affair for us. Both my daughters (19 and 17) and me generally go on club runs to gether. The nice thing about club runs is we teach newer folks how to wheel and always happy to spot over obstacles. In the event of a break down, we always get you and your vehicle home. Finally, I like being with responsible 4 wheelers who have similar interests to me.

Enough of the blah blah blah

Here are some pictrures

This is my 19 year old daughter and her car. She can outdrive most men I know.

Nice pics guys. ^I recognize most of those Moab destinations^

I wheel (although not as hardcore as you guys), but it's for a greater purpose - Airtime!!!

I have a stock Tacoma with aftermarket wheels and BFG KO's. I lived in it for 9 months once touring mountain bike races and hang gliding comps. They say the most dangerous part of hang gliding is getting up the road, trail, creek bed, or deset wash to launch. I've taken the Tacoma up all of them loaded down with 5 20 foot long gliders weighing 80lbs each on the roof rack and 8 people hanging out the bed!!

Another time at 1AM I pulled of I-70 in Central Utah at a GPS waypoint and drove abandoned mining roads via GPS to a new flying site. I have a 50 mile flight reaching 17,000 feet a couple times. My friend chased us in the Tacoma by following a wash and more mining roads.

Here's a pic taken right after I pulled off the highway, I zip tied my GPS to the "oh shit" handle.

so i know this is an old thread but I just stumbled on it. I picked up an '88 samurai and I'm looking to take it out on some trails this year. My roommate has an '01 XTerra SC 5spd and he's interested too.

right now the Sammi's waiting for a swap (was over machined apparently, so it keeps kicking timing belts) but here's a picture:

don't know too much about it (bought it from a guy who didn't) but it's got a spring over with shackles and some home made steering linkage that needs to be replaced with the calmini kit. Sitting on 36" tsl radials. Also needs a real roll bar. Has cd, sirius, and cb (antenna not on yet) so that's pretty sweet

Thanks man. Seen that, it looks freakin awesome. You'd really have to have an amazing level of knowledge of your glider ratio to get that low to the ground! I do that in my glider in smooth air, but I have a ton more wing area to get me out of trouble if I get too low.

Post when you get your Moab dates. I'm headed out there for some more cliff launches with a friend who's coming from South Africa. Here's some youtube vid of the last ones:
