View Full Version : Getting a 1-series in the US Liberalslayer 05-19-2007, 03:11 AM Its very simple ladies and gentlemen. Go to Mexico and buy a 130i and drive it into the US. I want a 135. Not available anywhere yet, well i hope yet. So, i will sit back and wait Liberalslayer 05-19-2007, 08:29 PM Actually a 130i M-sport with 256hp is only 44,000 m3maker 05-19-2007, 09:24 PM Pics! HH007 05-20-2007, 12:20 PM Actually a 130i M-sport with 256hp is only 44,000 ONLY 44,000 You say that like its cheap for that car!!! Holy shit, i could buy a fairly loaded out 335i coupe for that. If the 1 series does come to the US, it better have just as much horsepower as the 335 and it better not cost as much, otherwise, they might as well not even bring it in. Why would anyone buy a 1 when they can get the 3 for the same money??? thexfiend 05-21-2007, 12:11 AM is it really that easy? USA tends to makes getting a car from another country a pain no matter what Liberalslayer 05-21-2007, 05:09 PM Well for some poeple in this forums 44,000 is not much. I am 18 I have like 1000. I have a 1989 E30 325i, and I lose in two months to my brother when I go away to college. If I had 44,000 I would hella buy used, always buy used. I would probably get like 2006 Pontiac GTO, maybe a CTS-V, S4 , Lotus Exige, Jaguar XJR, BMW M5(not the new version), Acura NSX, Caddy SRX, or a BMW 335i. Not a 130 M-sport, I am just pointing out that its a possibility. HH007 05-21-2007, 11:37 PM Well for some poeple in this forums 44,000 is not much. I am 18 I have like 1000. I mean, come on...anything over 35k for a 1 series is ridiculous (excluding ///M series) El Bori 05-22-2007, 10:20 PM i would buy a 1-series if it came with the s54 engine that the e46 m3 had. i would love to be killing honda civics, and mazda proteges hatchbacks in a hatchbackhttp://images.bimmerforums.com/vb3images/icons/icon10.gif. seano666 05-23-2007, 01:36 PM I was hoping for a .5 series, maybe a .5.5i with a .5 liter 3 cylinder vanos motor. lol MP525i 05-24-2007, 03:09 PM i would buy a 1-series if it came with the s54 engine that the e46 m3 had. i would love to be killing honda civics, and mazda proteges hatchbacks in a hatchbackhttp://images.bimmerforums.com/vb3images/icons/icon10.gif. you can still kill civics/protege hatches with a hatch.. see below. :D plus it will only cost you $18-24k. -mike MatteBlackCoupeDude 05-25-2007, 04:07 AM i would buy a 1-series if it came with the s54 engine that the e46 m3 had. i would love to be killing honda civics, and mazda proteges hatchbacks in a hatchbackhttp://images.bimmerforums.com/vb3images/icons/icon10.gif.
