Pioneer AVIC-N3
I bought this item used, and when I received it there was a problem. The screen needs a little help when opening/closing. From what I can see, maybe the gears are off track a little because it seems the screen folds a little too far down when closing, which makes the area surrounding the screen rub against the unit. Note the actual screen isn’t scratched since it’s recessed, but there are scratches on the grey part around the screen. NO SCRATCHES ON THE SCREEN. Other than that the unit works fine, when I had it installed we set the screen to stay open all the time and it worked just as any other n3 would. This can be fixed by sending to pioneer, and although last time I used their repair service it was free (for a different unit, and it wasn’t even under warranty), they may or may not charge you to repair this unit, I haven’t checked. The unit does not include the owner’s manual, outer front trim ring or original nav discs, but the owner’s manual can be downloaded from pioneer’s website, and I am including copies of the newest nav discs, which have been tested and work just like the originals.
Included is the following:
Head unit
Brain
A brand new, unused nav antenna
Mounting bracket with 3 screws
Wiring harness
Rca plug harness
Brain to head unit cable
Radio antenna cable
CNDV-60MP East and West Nav disc copies
