For those of you who don't know, i had a beautiful 83 320i. Hit a guardrail. Bought an 81 IS, was hit on the freeway after having it for 5 days. Still have both cars and decided it was time to pick up a 3rd. Grabbed an 81 320i running for 300 bucks.

Here is where it gets fun. Car 3 was running like shit, Car 2 has damage to the driver side quarter panel, and car 1 has damage to the passenger side hood, fender, valence, and radiator mount.

Both car 1 and car 2 are schwarts black.

I started with stripping car 3 of Engine, Tranny, Diff. Shafts.... Basically every thing. I plan on taking every thing good from the IS (car 2) (engine, tranny, LSD, Seats, Wheel, Bars, Etc..) and transporting into Car 3.

I pulled all bolt on body parts on the front end of the IS and cut the whole Radiator mount off of the car.

I now have every thing i need to fix Car 1.

This weekend, the welding and cutting goes down!

I'll have before and after pictures to post by the end of the weekend.

Yea, you should have the 83 up and running by Monday, unless your lazy or something..:D

Cool project- sounds like you enjoyed the first car more than the others...
