What: Smoky Mtn Chapter BMWCCA Spring Drive

Where: Meet in the Kroger Parking lot
9501 S Northshore Dr
Knoxville, TN 37922
Meet at 9:00 AM

From Kroger we will take I-140 (Pellissippi Pkwy) to Alcoa Hwy.
We will go through Maryville and continue on HWY 411 to Vonore, TN
In Vonore we will branch off to HWY 360
That connects to the Cherohala Skyway which we will follow all the way to
the Dragon (HWY 129)
After the Dragon we will head back and take Foothills Pkwy (more great
roads and views)
When the drive is finished we will head back to my house and food will be
provided by the club

We will pass by Kroger on the way to my house so if anyone would like to
pick up additional food or drinks you're welcome to.

The Choo-Choo chapter will be joining us so we're looking forward to a
great turnout. Please RSVP to me (post in this thread) so I know how much food to get. Thanks!

I'm going up to Knoxville a day or so ahead of the drive to take care of some other things.. My brother and I are going up into Virginia to pick up some items for his E30. (manual swap, hehe)

i got a 2000 540i with a 6 speed. Yes i still have the E30. I just wanted something bigger for long drives. I hope its not to fancy.

Not going to be able to make it this weekend.

Gonna be installing CF roof panel. It is a 3 day job.......front & rear glass has to come out, remove metal roof/sunroof, weld in roof bow, install panel, adhesive has to set for 24 hours, re-install glass, etc.

I have been waiting almost 4 months for this part to arrive.....long story.

Keep me posted on the next one!

Great meet and drive today!! It was my first time at the Dragon, and it was a real blast. It was nice to meet the Chattanooga crew that came.
