I have aftermarket HIDs on the car. I also have a 2 bd that opened up, but no covered parking.
97M3SDN 05-18-2007, 02:07 AM I ordered clear tail lights and ellipsoid head lights for my E36 M3/4:D which I had to, after getting a good deal on the clear side markers and corners from Ramon. Installed them last night and now I am anxious to finish the updating.:)
Ohh and I forgot I joined the BMWCC.
The Beastmaster 05-18-2007, 02:25 AM Thanks for joining CCA!
swiftss13 05-18-2007, 02:41 AM Took off the 255/30/19s and got some 235/35/19's put on my 2 back Iforged at Hawaiian Tire and Auto Center. Great service by the way. Now hopefully I won't rub anymore. Tomorrow I will put them back on and find out.
RDR-EURO 05-18-2007, 04:10 AM Looking good Bryan! I need to upgrade my angel eye led's on my 540I also.:)
The Beastmaster 05-18-2007, 04:38 AM Looking good Bryan! I need to upgrade my angel eye led's on my 540I also.:)
I'm sure yours is easier than mine! The old lights had 1 plug for parking and turn signal. The new ones have a different connector and 1 plug for blinkers and 1 plug for the angel eyes/parking lights. Had to order new connectors, test the wires to figure out which one operated what and splice and shrink wrap those wires.

Nothing to contribute in either case anyway.
:stickoutt
Actually, i did do something car related. Pulled the radiator & alterator from the RR. Next: drop exhaust and pull off waterpump and distributor.

You could probably put an EzUp tent there, but it has to be anchored real good. The stall for that unit is on the right side of a Y.
I waxed the 540 today, too.
dirsh 05-18-2007, 05:37 AM looks good
how bout some predator ice?
wiggafly808 05-18-2007, 05:40 AM Today i thought about how i should re-do the paint on the spot i had rust.
I also thought about washing and waxing and vacuuming my car.
I also thought about my transmission problems.
Thats all i did =/.
Reverend73 05-18-2007, 09:07 AM Got home and the UPS dude left a box on the porch, opened it and this was inside. :redspot Installation to follow this weekend. For now, here is some gratuitus radiator porn :buttrock

I am extremely impressed with the initial quality of the system. The fan itself is sealed to the shroud with a gasket, the welds are exquisite, etc. I got the two speed option, which is why there are two relays with associated wiring.

The Beastmaster 05-18-2007, 06:10 PM Looks like I'll be getting some rear tires today. Mom comes home and tells me she has a flat tire.

Indeed it is. Car is approaching 80k miles, figured I'd do it right before a radiator neck falls off or the resevoir tank explodes or the mechanical fan explodes. :D

The Beastmaster 05-20-2007, 12:33 AM Very nice, Gene! What about help from your son? I see a hose bibb, so a sink is easy to go in and just let it drain into the gravel. Now just put a bbq grill and you're all set!
PCP JR 05-20-2007, 03:07 AM Lookin' good!
If you need to borrow a circular saw to make railings or whatnot, just holler.
The scarecrow needs a head and arms, though... :D

gmhl10 05-20-2007, 04:18 AM I just finally got a safety check for the car...
:( I cracked one of my painted reflectors while removing it for the safety check...
Now I need to get a new set painted.
Getting this in the mail cheered me up though.

Any chance you can help me put mine in?

gmhl10 05-20-2007, 04:12 PM Sure when would you want to do it?
Not for a while. Planning to get this done around late August or early September when Calvin gets back.
He wants my LCD. :)
IDK how to install a nav system so Calvin said he'd help me out with that too.
97M3SDN 05-20-2007, 06:05 PM I detailed my 330ci and I still need to do my wife's MB E500:help
I also picked up the 3M tape and redid my eyebrows and I installed Michelin windshield wipers for a very clean look.
bupton 05-20-2007, 06:15 PM Did someone say detailing? I will be right over!! ;)
strad 05-20-2007, 06:17 PM She didn't know she had a flat until she got home. :confused She just said the car was getting noisy.
My mother-in-law drove 50 miles in her 323is with it making some bad noises and shaking at highway speeds (70+ for her). Turned out when she got home that one rear tire was about to disintegrate.
She had her son (my brother-in-law) in the car with her, and he never suspected a thing (a really bad thing because he's in the car repair business!). He's a likeable guy but not so smart sometimes. . . .

Actually... there was an article on p.90 of this month's Roundel magazine (the one with the E92 M3 cover pic) that showed how to do a reverse camera in the trunk keyhole install on a E46. :) What good timing!
But yea... let me help you with some of your installs too.
BTW... check out Suzuka Circuit since you're in Nagoya. They have tons of cool stuff you can buy at their gift shops!
Buy me one of those coilover suspension pen keychains (the smaller one) if you go. I'll pay you! Mine is all worn out and flaking :(.
Check the Suzuka website and go during a good race day ;)

tried going on the worlds tallest roller coaster but was closed due to high winds :(
mauka 05-23-2007, 02:48 PM Went and looked at this. Though I was gonna be taking another car to the Mainland. Seemed like a good deal - matching VINS on every panel, only the wing has been painted, never tracked, one mature owner, completely stock save for a set of H&R's. But after I get it where I want it mechanically (before even thinking about mods), I'd be in too deep.

for the mochi: strawberry mochi (their claim to fame) is $2.25 a piece, sold in boxes of 6 or 12. i know $2+ sounds like a lot for mochi, but they are HUGE.
assorted mochi: 8 pc box $6; 12pc box $8.80; 16pc box $11.60, 20pc box $14.40. you can mix & match, but definitely call a few days ahead to place an order if you want specific items. they also have random assortment boxes out front for walk-in customers. but plan your trip accordingly! they are only open wed-sat 11am-5pm. i can post their menu here if you are interested.
itsu's is good local kine grindz. but i usually get the pastrami ($2.50) x 2.

Thank for the scoops! No need to post their menu, I already logged it in my mind as an omiyage place as a replacement for the Big Island dipped cookies.

LMK if you are going to order as the owners of Two Ladies and Big Island Candies are my aunt's friends. She got me a dozen strawberry mochi with last minute notice. :D Other good omiyage is the big bag of flavored lavosh pieces. It's the scraps, but they are so ono!

The Beastmaster 05-28-2007, 12:42 AM Hiked up with my boys to put flags and leis on the graves up on punchbowl
You done good Bob! Thanks for decorating the graves and honoring our fallen soldiers. My uncle must be smiling from his grave.
97M3SDN 05-28-2007, 01:09 AM BB, thank you, my parents are in Punchbowl as my father served in WWII in the South Pacific.
I put on the Dinan CF engine and intake cover on my E36 M3...thanks Reid they look great.
Went to look at a 2002 Carbon Black M3....some problems high mileage and owner doesn't know anything about cars and did not take very good care of the car. Car wasn't washed and looked like he parked by the feeling method, curbed I can't figure this out the driver's side as well as the passenger. But the price is reasonable or workable.
Blitzkrieg Bob 05-28-2007, 01:15 AM Thank the Cub & Boy Scouts, the boys do it every year.

i wish!!!:D
seems like this weeks flavor is CLS, while 2 weeks ago, it was the exige...
the two are fairly close in price, but i'm not sure what i want...
i was on my way out this morining, when the ad in the paper caught my eye...the E55 is in ok condition...04 with 23k miles on it...i drove one before and i liked it...the CLS is an 06 and has 1400 miles on it...right now, i'm leaning towards the CLS...
The Beastmaster 05-28-2007, 03:01 AM Is the CLS silver? My friend had one and took it in to MB for servicing. The car got smashed there and he didn't want it back so he got a CLS55 instead.

yep, silver...might not be this one though...the one i'm looking at has only 1397 miles on it...unless he got it serviced with that little mileage on it...bri- please lemme know if this is the car though...
i'm thinking this one was at autosource before- allegedly the owner bought it w/o his wife knowing, and she got mad, so he had to get rid of it...anyway, that was the story i heard...
what was pretty funny to me was that the saleslady was asking what kind of cars i had, so i mentioned them to her...i told her my mom always gets upset when she stops by my place and sees another car in the driveway...i visited my mom today, and was telling her i was thinking of getting the CLS, and sure enuff, she was getting mad at me...
The Beastmaster 05-28-2007, 03:50 AM Was the saleslady Mary?
Not sure if the CLS is the one you're looking at, but I do know it had very low mileage when it got hit. He lives in Nuuanu and he rarely drove it as he preferred to drive his EVO. He's the one that has the red Z06 from Georgia.

no, salesgirl is miki...han used to be my salesman there, but he gave me crappy customer service after my last purchase from him...so, i decided to just go with someone else this time...sad, cause he knew how i was, and we never needed to bull$hit around...made buying cars easy/fun...
and you know what i just realized, the one i'm looking at is pewter in color, not silver...
The Beastmaster 05-28-2007, 04:11 AM Hmmm, isn't pewter silver? I never saw my friend's car but just knew it was silver. Then I saw the white one at his house and he told me the story.

similar...there's a slight bronze-ish tint to pewter...

gmhl10 05-28-2007, 07:05 AM I was looking for a beater car all day :)
Looked at a nice immaculate (but high miles) blue '98 DC2 integra LS.
Also found a nice '97 red Miata with no pic, but looks interesting enough to inquire about.
And a modified '00 blue GB6 Impreza 2.5 RS... not sure if I want a modded one.. but I like the GB6 models.
Lastly... a SXE10 '02 blue IS300. Looks good and almost stock (gotta change out those polished rims)... but the cost is in the $18K. Nice car, but not sure if I want this as a beater since I think I'll worry about this car a lot too getting hit and stuff.

You'll get the mod bug and then HPD will harrass you or your car will be a target for thieves.
A Miata is good esp. if you get it with a hardtop.

Don't worry... I'll definitely not mod it!
And if it gets stolen... that's what insurance is for.
A beater can always be replaced.
What I'm really looking for is something that has good gas mileage for daily commutes, easy to park, stick shift so I can practice driving a MT more, and cheap to fix if something breaks down.

How about an E30?
thrlls 05-28-2007, 07:32 AM How about an E30?
Yeah!
I got a great 318is.....NOT!
99MPower 05-28-2007, 08:11 AM How about an E30?
my sentiment exactly. Bought the piece of crap one I have for $600 and have about $500 into it, and the thing runs like a champ. If your willing to look past all the short comings, and as a beater car, only for going from point A to point B and carrying all my tools/car parts.. Thing is awesome. I was underway for almost 6 weeks, came back, and the thing started right up first try. My buddies new 06 F150 had to get jump started.. I love my E30. I wont keep it when I leave, but I will definately get another one when I get back, stateside, or an E34.
Bryan, no the parts are not heading your way. Although I do have one big order I have to get in before I get back, that I need to make sure it's cool to send to your place. I found a place that has the lowest prices I've seen on OEM suspension parts, and little OEM stuff. So that is where I am getting all my new control arms, tie rods, thermo, thermo housing, fan switch, exhaust gaskets and such to bring all the upgrades together.
By the way, if anyone has not done the thermo, thermo housing, and fan switch on their E36, let me know and maybe we can combine orders so we can save on shipping... Just a heads up, I'll be posting a thread for what parts anybody wants in about a week, so keep an eye out.

FCP Groton? Just let me know so I can lookout for the order. LMK the cost for your exhaust as I stuck it on my mom's car. It sounds SWEET! :stickoutt

A Miata meets all of your criteria, and on public roads, it's more fun to drive than an E46 M3, IMHO. :)

gmhl10 05-28-2007, 11:50 PM Well... I don't want the car to be too old. Nothing before 1995, I guess.

At least you know that car wasn't crashed! Do you really want a car that big? For $60k you could get a 996tt from the mainland. You could also get a Testarossa, but those cars are ridiculous on maintenance.
DesmoBob 05-29-2007, 04:37 AM yesterday watched a large fire near my house.
was sitting by the computer. one siren passed by. then another. by the time the third fire truck passed i figured it was serious. looked out the other window, holy sh*t the sky was black with smoke. hfd chopper with a bucket overhead. rode my bicycle to the scene, didn't have to go far, and half the neighborhood was there watching.
kaliimc, remember where the car wash was, near the top entrance driveway? the fire was right there behind the fence!!! and it was just feet away from the house at the top of the driveway. it was HUGE! and that field next to that house on top is completely blackened.

honestly, i dunno what i want...pretty bad, cuz significant other reminds me i just got the Z06 a few months ago, and i'm already looking for something else to have (not gonna let go of the vette though)...
after having the lexus LS 430, i grew to like big comfy cars...something i NEVER thought possible...i like the f-cars, but cant afford the maintenance on 'em...i was considering a p-car, and the exige, but i dunno if i *need* another sports car...right now it's a tossup between the exige and cls...
that and the CLS just oozes sexiness to me...i love the lines the car has...
direct me to some 996tt sites/forums...maybe you'll convert me into a p-car driver...also, i'm kinda skeptical about buying a car from the mainland sight unseen...how do you do go about doing it??? or, maybe you should buy one, and i'll just buy yours when you get tired of it :D
Iwantoneofthose 05-29-2007, 05:03 AM buying it sight unseen definitely requires a PPI by a reputable shop.
99MPower 05-29-2007, 05:33 AM Bryan, nope not FCP Groton, another vendor here on the forums. I hope you didnt put the exhaust on. I got a deal on that thing, and I dont think you have an E36 to put it on... LOL

Going to be control arms, tie rods, cooling stuff (thermo, housing, fan switch) gaskets, and some other small stuff. Thanks again Bryan for helping me out.

I hate my windshield nozzles they are self plugging or something I cleared them before but tonight again nothing. pita. I'm missing the norcal mountain roads right about now. the end.

euroNOOB 06-02-2007, 09:09 PM today installed the DS on the e30.
first found out that one of the nuts was stripped on the diff side. so i left the rear part on and just took off the front one. since i had no center bearing and it was moving like crazy all over the place.
=/
second the nut that locks the two shafts to each other.
i cant get it too screw back on. no matter how hard i try and if i loosen the two 13mm bolts for the center bearing housing and wiggle and move it up and down to align it just wont screw on. so i left it off.
i know thats bad but i was wondering how safe can it be for now?
i took it for a test drive and the vibration was gone big time but i was still uneasy on that nut.
anyways but yah..thats what i did today. lol
any suggestions on what type of drop springs and struts to use?
thanks

I have been negotiating to buy that 2003 M5 but as of now no deal. Let's just say the seller is hard to deal with for someone who has been trying to sell a car for months.
97M3SDN 06-03-2007, 10:50 AM Vexed is that the Green M5 with 14K miles? It seems the owner is an idiot IMO. Did anyone figure out if he is indeed the original owner as he states?

That's it. He is the "original" owner in the sense that he is the first retail purchaser. He could buy the extended warranty. But the car's in service date is about a year earlier than when he bought it. I was able to get the service history. He does not understand that when you sell a used car you need to sell it, I don't need to buy it. He acted like he really wanted to get it done because of a pending real estate deal but is now claiming he won't go lower than 43K although his deal with Barry was at 42K.:rolleyes
97M3SDN 06-03-2007, 03:26 PM Vexxed,
The guy really is proving more and more that he is an idiot. I think he doesn't want to sell it he just wants guys to call him. Also beginning to wonder if he is a scam artist.
I know we should just start calling him and low ball him then he will appreciate a true offer and accept it. Let see I can spare $30K I wonder if he will take that offer:devillook
vexed 06-03-2007, 03:36 PM I do beleive he wants, and needs to sell it. My wife thinks he was insulted by my offer, but even so you try and work the deal. At first he told me "good luck" then kept trying to convince me his price was fair. I confess I can be a tough negotiator, I do some of it for a living. He claimed that Rocco at BMW offered him 40.5 for the car, if that were true it would be gone. Stay tuned, I still may buy the car:devillook
97M3SDN 06-03-2007, 05:23 PM Did you test drive the car? So he didn't want to negotiate, he just told you good luck rather then hitting you with a counter offer? What is the condition of the car, pristine, excellent, very good or just good?
Hummm $42K, if it is immaculate or excellent.

Hummm $42K, if it is immaculate or excellent.
I drove it last Saturday, for a bit up to the Pali lookout. Very clean except under the hood. He had not driven it in a while so it sounded like a tractor when we started it and he insisted we drive to BMW. The service foreman said normal and the noise did disappear. He told me "good luck" and then email me back. I just reminded him of his last deal at 42, told him I could move off my original offer but not to 43. He always acts like he is in a rush to get the deal done, but then wants his number. If the car was sterling grey it would have been in my garage already but I can walk away from Oxford Green in a minute.
97M3SDN 06-03-2007, 06:37 PM +1 on the Green
BMW had a pristine Blue 2003, one traded in it lasted about an hour or so. I blinked and it was gone :(
thrlls 06-03-2007, 10:30 PM Rule #1 when purchasing a car:
Don't fall in love with the car....there's another one out there!
Good job on walking away!
As bad looking as OG is, that is what may make the car worth more since production will be few. However, $43k looks much better than an '03 M5 with 14k on it's clock. I think $40k would be reasonable, but since he doesn't want to negotiate it shows he loves the car more than he wants to sell it.

I am a firm believer in Rule #1-ask my wife:embarrasm He needs to sell it, he leased a 2007 M5, right before the 2008s hit. He is storing it at his office garage. I can live with OG but the ball is in his court, he has about 2 weeks left on the warranty and maintenance.
I must have a negative effect on sellers. A few months ago we drove a used Audi A3 that the owner had been trying to sell for months, it was a manual. He was asking 23 obo and we offered 21. He sounded excited and then left a message that he had decided to stay at 23 but we could make another offer if we wanted--WTF? My wife wanted it but based on Rule #1 we walked. A few weeks later we noticed it was for sale at McKenna in Kailua--for about 23. Wonder what he got in trade.:nono

carrera was nice, i'm used to power/torque of the z06, so that part didnt impress me much...handling was nice and precise...interior was nice also...i liked the car...
cayman s time...holy CRAP this car is awesome...to me, much more fun and lively than the 911...handling of the mid-engine platform is amazing, and i went to the same stretch of road, and it was much more quicker and precise through the turns...not as much oomph as the 911, but this car makes you forget it, cause i believe it'll eat it through the turns...it put a much bigger grin on my face...kept saying "WOW" the entire time...musta said it at least 100 times during my drive (no, i'm not joking)...so glad i didnt buy the CLS500, cause driving this car was just plain FUN...

As for the Cayman S, I've only heard good reviews of the car. The only reason the car has the horsepower it has is because if it had more, no one would buy the Carrera.
I just read that Porsche racing legend Vic Elford prefers the Cayman S to the Carrera for the same reasons you pointed out. 'nuff sed.

Iwantoneofthose 06-06-2007, 04:04 AM absolutely...I agree with everything Bryan has said. I've driven the Cayman S before...and I hate to say it as a die hard air cooled 911 nut, but the damn thing does just about everything perfectly. It even sounds right...and of course the source of the music is right there behind you. The chassis is capable of far more power...it's almost like the 914 of its day. Given a proper powerplant it would run circles around 997s.
Woody...are ya next? :evil2
Iwantoneofthose 06-06-2007, 04:05 AM oh btw...that's a red one. Cayman's don't come in orange....yet. But I'm sure you could order that GT3RS orange if you wanted it ;)
The Beastmaster 06-06-2007, 04:05 AM Orange? That's Guards Red!

Iwantoneofthose 06-06-2007, 04:08 AM oh no kidding? hahaha no shit, just came home a few minutes ago and mine came in today. Whaddya know...it's right on the cover! I haven't even opened my April issue yet :embarrasm
poser 06-06-2007, 04:20 AM That would be the nice combo in my garage....yellow Z06 and orange C/S!!

woody, when you say C/S, you mean carrera s or cayman s???
when i looked at the lotus, i was thinking the orange exige s and yellow z06 would be a cool color combo to have in the driveway...:D
and yes, that isnt orange, it's red...i dont car for red cars too much, but guards red looks great in person...it doesnt have the options i want though- namely the sports suspension...
oh, financial advisor was with me on the test drives...she was really impressed by the cayman s also...she kept saying that it was so nimble through the turns...she's ok with me getting it:eek:

The Beastmaster 06-06-2007, 04:46 AM No idea how many people will show up. I'd say maybe 12 - 20 cars.

The Cayman S supposedly the perfect car. Now to have a new M3 take it on, that would be interesting.

bupton 06-07-2007, 12:16 AM I put on my new strut brace and the body coloured reflector replacements. Then I got mad again about my coloured grills and had a beer.
gmhl10 06-07-2007, 12:53 AM I went to the Cutter Ala Moana dealership today...
Asked around again about used cars.
Unfortunately, no NA/NB Miatas in stock (I didn't even ask about any RX-7s because I already knew the answer). No anything else either... but I left my info with them in case they hear anything.
He did give me the contact for this guy he knows who's trying to sell his '01 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS though... cool guy! I'll give him a call later to check it out.
On a side note... instead of hearing something like at the Acura dealer... I got a "Why would you want to drive a Mazda when you got a BMW?" this time by the sales manager. lol. I can understand why he would say that as in terms of luxury, but I would think he should have more faith in what he sells since Mazda makes some great cars too.
99MPower 06-07-2007, 03:04 AM stood duty on the ship unfortunately while everyone else went out in town, got drunk, and had fun with the local women, and the casino :(

Iwantoneofthose 06-09-2007, 05:39 PM I went to Cars & Coffee :)
97M3SDN 06-09-2007, 06:12 PM I went to cars and coffee in Manoa, thank god the weather held out. Met a lot of guys who I now view as friends. Good turnout and a lot of BMW and Porsches turned out braving the foul weather.
thrlls 06-09-2007, 07:37 PM Yep, did the same thing C&C met up with some old time friends I haven't seen in a while and at the same time making new friends!
I'll see some of them again tonight at the SCCA banquet!
I wonder if poser picked up that Cayman?
Nice P car there Astro!
Iwantoneofthose, you need more duct tape for your roof! :D
H J - I hope to see you at autox I noticed you did not take Iwantoneofthose's helmet.
97M3SDN - nice to meet you and see your car. Is that an A/T? Looks nice!
I know I met others there, but I don't know the sign on for the forums.

Jeff... you gotta take me to that shop that has that helmet? I simply love it and yea... those helmets you guys got are heavy. haha.

97M3SDN 06-09-2007, 08:13 PM Damn stupid computer of mine is acting up. I am using my daughters computer. Will try to get some pictures up. Got H-J modeling the helmet around the parking lot.
My 97 M3 is an A/T, because my wife cannot drive a M/T.
Spicy aka Frank tempted me again that is a sweet M3 that his wife has and is selling.
Good showing of Porsches, Astro that is one helluva car.
I think the next event we should be parking by models. The only model not present today and every meet is an 8 series.
I just want to thank all of those who attended a big Mahalo as it shows the friendship and our unique interest in cars, especially BMWs.
Reminder to all Monday Night! I am expecting a big turnout so I will have to do some scouting to find a place where we can gather. Since it is a local holiday the Center, Warehouse will be crowded. I am gravitating to the Farmers Market side. Will post more on the location later.
erbillingsley 06-09-2007, 09:06 PM Your going to make me park by myself. Seems like mine is the only M Roadster that is showing up. I think there is another Z3 in the group because I think I saw one at the last BMWCCA cruise.
97M3SDN 06-09-2007, 09:22 PM :eek:Ed, your roadster can park anywhere you want to as far as I am concerned it is a one of a kind.

Not to worry, with all those so called E30 owners out there, I didn't see any other one but mine today or at any other meet that I attended.
Since our suspensions are the same, we'll park next to each other...how's that?
Of course if it's crowded we may not be able to move cars around as we'd like.

thrlls 06-11-2007, 04:22 AM I finally finished the electric door lock problem I had with the Jetta.
Thanks to Iwantoneofthose and the Vortex website, I was able to disassmeble the electric board and re-solder a few micro switches and now it works like a charm.
I also took a Lexus 460LS for some spirited driving along the Blow Hole area and the car handles rather well for being so large and heavy. Some tire squealing, but the computer never did try to take over. It's kind of weird having the head lights move with the turns especially when they don't move as fast as you're driving.
The trans doesn't shift as quick as you would like, but it doesn't up shift automatically either. It will stay in gear until you shift it. I'm not sure if I would ever use all 8 gears in this car on this island!
I'll have to do another run tomorrow morning on my way to work!
This car is very comfy and I can get used to it really fast!

DesmoBob 06-13-2007, 01:56 AM Well I sort of accidentally fixed my stuck passenger window.
Initially I was gonna pick up that spare regulator from Pat, but since I'd be taking the door apart, I might as well see if I should pick up a motor at the dealer along the way.
So this afternoon I started to disassemble the door, dislodged the motor from the regulator, tested the voltage, reinstalled motor, POOF it works perfectly :95

went to HIP and was told $200 for it. since i was in my work uniform, he asked what shop i worked for n etc. and gave me the discount price instead of customer price. so i only paid $99 for it.
took me all a good 20minutes (hand tools, no air) from start to finish to install the new wheel bearing hub. +1
now time to save up for the other side =/
