I took a spin over to the BMW dealership the other day to test drive a 328xi... I liked the car a lot. It handles nice, looks nice, drives nice... until the dealership gave me the keys to a 335i.

After I got back from my test drive in the 335i, the sales rep knew right away that the 328xi would be staying on the lot and the 335i would be my new car.

Putting $5k down on a 36 month lease with 36,000 miles with every option except Sport pkg & Navigation. $495 a month. Not bad!

I can't wait to drive her home tomorrow... Are there any tricks out there to tweak this beast-of-an-engine and get some more power out of it? (Not that there already isn't enough!)

If you visit the thread right on the front page about the turbo tuner, you get about 50hp for $600.

Nice. I wanted to buy from a Wisconsin dealer but there wasn't a coupe available in the whole state. I had to get it from the FIBs.

You should have gotten the Sports Package.

LOL, from the FIBS! I like that.

You can't find a coupe anywhere.. let alone the convertible.

LENELSA - I went without the Sports Package because I don't want to deal with swapping the wheels/tires in the winter. Gotta love Wisconsin!

I pick the car up tomorrow morning at 9:00 AM. I'll post some pics when I get her home.

You still get all seasons on the Sport Package in your area, also you should get snow tires regardless of sport or non sport.

The color combo is Black/Black. 6 Speed Manual Tranny. This car goes even in 4th gear at 2000rpm. Squawked the tires through 4th, didn't have enough road to make it to 5th.

Congrats! Note to all who think they just want a 328i: Don't drive the 335i or you will be hooked. I love my 335i!

Yeah, I'm guessing this won't be a snow car.... I would have thought twice about it if I didn't have a winter SUV.

I can verify that there was not a single coupe in the whole state of Wisconsin for sale the last couple of months... of course, there are only four dealers total.

Did you think aboout the 335xi? The 335 w/ all seasons in your WI winters? Maybe I'm just jealous...I thought about the 335 and really wanted the 335, but the late spring storms convinced me to get the xi. Congrats by the way.

Congratulations, you'll love this car. Probably not a good idea to advertise any mods you do on any bulletin board, especially when you have your picture and phone number underneath. A lot of SA's and CA's lurk and it's not a warranty enhancing situation IYKWIM. :confused
