Ok so today I got the car up on the lift, when its in gear and i turn the rear wheels I hear a clank and ting, if i grab the passenger side axle it has play where it goes into the diff, i can see signs of fluid around there as well not leaking but its damp around the boot, what needs to be replaced to fix this problem, does the whole rear need to be rebuilt, i think all the play is in the rear, but it also sounds like the drive shaft is contributing to the noise, there is about a inch or 2 of play in the wheel i would say before it turns the axle and makes the noise ?

Please help i love this car and just paid 28 grand for it :rolleyes
