This came with the car, but I am too lazy to use a cd changer. It is an Alpine CHM-S620 and works just fine.

It comes with a high-quality, Soundgate brand adapter. This unit simply plugs into your factory harness (2 plugs) and works with the stock stereo or can be made to work with any aftermarket stereo.

No idea what it's worth, so I'll ask $30 shipped!

Do yo know if the unit / converter work on my stock / CD ready '94 325is? I'm assuming so based on the description it should. I've got the round plug and the rectangular power cord. Does it sound like this will work? If so, I'll take it... consider it sold.

I did some research and it looks like it won't work... assuming it came from your '96. Looks like they changed the wiring config. in '95... thanks anyway.
