Hey guys...
I was wondering if there is a place in town that I can purchase a E39 Bentley manaul, instead of paying out the ass for shipping one here???

Also, I found some wheels that I really like; the have a 74.1mm center bore, but the offset is 40mm at the fronts and 45mm at the rears...
http://www.wheelmax.com/_images/products/AZA-Z1HL.gif (http://javascript<b></b>:openPopUpwindow('_images/products/AZA-Z1HL_z.gif'))
http://www.wheelmax.com/wheelcolors.asp?CtgId=11375&color=Hyper%20Light

So, I am thinking I need 20mm spacers at the front and 15mm spacers at the rear...???
The spacers are by H&R...

If the spacers are good quality, will I still have issues with them??
How much do these things weigh???

Recommendations???
Thank you guys for all the help!!!
Jason

Just buy wheels with the proper offset. Have you priced out the spacers and longer bolts? They are expen$ive!

Check HIP for the manual - 591 2882. If they Don't have it in stock, they will bring it in with their stock order.
I got mine on Amazon, and shipping was not bad.
BTW, you have an e9!?!?!? Or did you leave out a "3" in there?

What do you plan on doing with your stock wheels, I may be interested

I may burn them, melt them down, and dance around them after replacing them...
If you can't tell, I hate them!!!
The wheels are 17" x 8 style 5 composite wheels...
Thanks!

remember if you do spacers, you need longer bolts as well

or just get studs... your option

What's the maximum wheel offset I can get away with on my E39?
My guess is 20mm front and 30mm rears???
Are there any success stories of people using spacers???
Looks like there are no light weight wheels for the E39....???
Thanks for all the help guys!!!

How about 19" OZ three piece SuperLeggera's?
They're pretty light considering the size.

OK, here's my other option...
Does anybody know what size spacers I need for these wheels at Turner Motorsports;
LTW5 Lightweight Alloy Race Wheel 17 x 9 - Part #: LTW517x9A
http://www.turnermotorsport.com/html...T_ID=LTW517x9A

Which finish do you guys like??
I was thinking the grey or black...???
Thanks for the help!
Jason

These are drilled to 74mm with a 41mm offset

those LTW5 rims are designed and have the offset for the E36 M3's... pretty much a replacement rim for the discontinued Kosei K1's... not sure, but I think the offset will be a major problem on the E39...

check out the E39 section of the forums, and post up questions there, or in the tire and wheel section for Jim from Tire Rack to help you out in...

probably the two best places to get answers regarding spacing for the offset on your E39 and also options for LTW rims for the car as well

Hey Edwin!!!
Well the advantage to these wheels is the weight!!!
Better upsrung weight for my smaller engine...
They are only 16.6lbs per wheel...
I am suppose to call Kevin at Turner tomorrow and talk to him about offsets and spacers.... pros/cons...
I thought the anthricite and the black versions of this wheel look pretty good...
I am surprised to hear you say that you like these more than the SSR GT3 replicas...???
I would think most people would prefer the GT3's for the deep chrome/ polished lip and the slim five spokes...
Hope to talk to you soon!!!
