I was gona post this last week but my buddy had the video and finally gave it to me tonite.
Ok so We all meet up at the local meet with a bunch of friends and hangout and have a good time. I know that I have beaten a stock sti from a roll prety good before and I know that evos are faster and eaiser to get power out of, so I decide to ask this guy if he wanted to run. He has a evo9 his mods are turboback and boost controller spikin at 21.5 then drops cuz he dosent have a tune. my mods are in my sig.
So we go to a local long street, no cars in sight. I tell him drop down to 1st. He should have all the advantage in the world in 1st being awd and I have heard that there is little if any turbo lag when you do a 1st gear roll in an evo (I could be wrong). So anyway we both line up and I do the 3 honks.
I loose traction half way in 1st and spin slightly in 2nd then grip. (I have shitty tires)

It seems like we both get a clean start besids my slight spinning. but I imedeatly jump out a good 1/4 car and it seems like he isnt to fast of a shifter as you can see in the video he keeps going in and out of boost durring shifts. its like hes ceaching up then loosing ground and so on.
We shut down almost at the end of 4th.
by then I was about 1/2 car ahead. I was realy surprised, even with a bad driver he should have beat me.
Im sure if it was a more experenced driver he would have spanked me.
Oh well count another one for the Mcoupe:alright
