Greetings, I am back in the Bimmer World. Got a M6 and it just blows me away. This is my sixth Bimmer, well actually seventh, bought a 07 335i the same day for my GF.
This car is awesome. I have had three c6 vettes lately and loved the car. You get a lot of car for the money in vettes, but this car rocks.

Can anyone suggest a tuning company like Dinan or someone that can delete the speed limiter? I hear BMW motorsoprts is coming out with one but I have not been able to get a time table on it and I am impatient.

Also, the V10 is new enough that I don't think Dinan, etc. have come out w/ the software updates yet. I'm guessing this will take a while since the old days of getting gains from this kind of thing are pretty much gone. Now it is limiter delete and re-mapping the power band.

As far as increasing horse power and torque you'll have to pay Dinan, ACS and others to Stroke and Bore your current 5 litre to say 5.5 and then you will the horse power increase you are looking for.

Enjoy your break-in period then open her up!
