(Edited title, leaving first post, go czech out like... #6 or something)

Ok... I want to go go-karting, and I want some competetion. Yes, I'm sure these are old and slow, but it should be fun nonetheless, no? If anyone is up for it, let me know... maybe we can get out and do this. I may swing by after work tomorrow and try to find the fast car... its not cheating, its doing my homework... oh... I mean "scouting the location"... yeah... that's it. After racing, I'm sure some mini-golf for bragging rights may happen as well... <g>

Well... I won't be busy much longer... I just found out yesterday that I lost my job, so I'll be unemployed after next friday. I won't have much ammo $$$, but I figure Sundays are best for Joe... and if we want to see his toys... that MAY be the day to do it. maybe I can swing a few bucks and get him to bring down a .50BMG and one round of ammo... maybe.

OK... so I was out at the SCCA meeting last night @ Sir Gooney's. Turns out on Tuesdays after for, they have a "2 for 10" deal. 2 hours of fun for 10$. The first 1.5 hours are unlimited batting cages/go-karts/slick track. The last 30 minutes is putt putt golf (takes about 45 minutes, so you really get about 2.25 hours of fun!). Anyways, I did the slick track 3-4 times, and did the big track once. Had a blast, and it was fun doing it with a bunch of fellow racers/enthusiasts. Anyways, it may be fun to do occasionally. This is at Sir Gooney's on Brainerd Road, not too far down from the Wal-Mart (or almost right next to Hooter's, if that's your landmark of choice). It is a little warm still, but they sell slush puppies to keep the heat away. If you wanted to make a big day of it, or if schedules conflicted... we could even do one starting at 4 going til about 6:15-6:30, then maybe grab a bite, and do it again at around 8 going til a little after 10. That way, if you wanted to do it early, early and eat, eat and late, or do all three, it could be done!

Ok... so number 7 is the new post, but #6 has the info. Tuesday nights there can be much fun had for 10$ at sir gooneys. Slick track, full race track for the karts... show off the driving skills and have fun out there. If we want to go any certain Tuesday, lmk and I'll get some of the SCCA guys and gals out too.

again, 10$ for 2+ hours of fun...1:30 of unl rides, and then one round of putt putt (usually takes around 45 minutes). LMK if you're interested.
