so i just got my new clear sidemarkers today and i popped the old ones out and plugged the light fixture into the new markers but i cannot seem to get them in. i'm doing the opposite method as i poped them out, but idk why thewy're not going in all the way. also what does the fork shaped thing on the marker go, it looks like it collides with a white thing in there thats attached to a screw.

i have the white thing with the screw all the way up too and i can ge tthe light about 3/4ths in but it wont' get any further. ahhh, i think i might just take it into the shop tomorrow and get it done there.

my old ones easily slide back in. so i'm thinking maybee these aren't a good shape and i should order new ones or somehow force htem in good, but they dont' fit flush with the rest of the body.

I don't mean to sound sarcastic, but do you have them on the correct side? They aren't intgerchangeable.

ya i believe there in the correct side. they only protrude a little bit, i talked to another guy and his are the same so i'm guessing that's just how they are made from the company i got them from.
