Matt, Leave my trophy alone. I've tried for the last 7 years to win the ugliest BMW award and I always lose out to some rusted out 2002.

It's mine, I want it. You can't have it.

Yes indeedy there is a Dead Dirty Last Anti-Zymol award. Not sure who is selecting the honoree this year. Rest assured thatg if I am making the decision there will be no favortism what-so-ever but note that I do enjoy the Hefewiesen at Kurt's, the big soft pretzels too, brown mustard. Not that I can be influenced.......

In a word, no.

Not picking on you but this is how the event got cancelled last year. We have to commit to Kurt for the food. We need to know how many people are showing. Last year a week out we had 12 people registered and we cancelled. An event like this takes time to plan and prep.

Register now. Everyone should bring their car. No one will laugh at the car.

You mean BEER is not included in the price? You have to drink beer with german food, that is a requirement, so it should be included. :)

Call Greg and order a car, I am sure that he will personally draw free beer for you.

Once again I need to point out that both Uniteds have consistently supported the Chapter. I can't say that about the other dealers in town.

Just posting this incase people don't check their emails often:

Our approach this year is low key. The cars will not be scored. Upon parking in the designated area please present your car in this manner:
1. Hood open
2. Trunk closed
3. Doors closed
4. Windows 2/3 down
5. Convertible tops down
6. Sunroofs open 2/3
7. Floor & trunk mats in car
8. No external displays, show the car only
9. Cars to be backed into spaces
10. Towels down at 11AM

If you are bringing portable chairs or sun shades please use the area behind your car. This event is going to be a sellout so please don't extend invitaitons to anyone that hasn't registered. We are trying to accommodate all members and will not have any extra lunch tickets on Saturday. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
The forecast is for scattered clouds and 93.

Good idea and thanks!

We have sold out and currently have people on waitlist for the event. Kurt's can only handle so many people before they get overwhelmed. At this time I think we have 50 cars entered and 130+ people attending. That is more people than I told Kurt that we were having. If you are on the waitlist you will have an answer by tomorrow afternoon.

The "F" is that when it was $5 a car and $12 for lunch we couldn't get people. Now with United/Gwinnett coming thru with sponsor money the folks are happy to show up for a free deal. We are happy to get the sponsorship.

Keep in mind Tim that last year we had to cancel the event due to lack of interest. Furthermore a bunch of us work pretty damn hard for free to get these events together. We enjoy seeing the Chapter members having events. That is what the "F" is.

After you get your reg pack another spotter will guide you to a parking space. Try not to roll in at 10:55, LOL. All spectator's cars to the side lot, gravel lot ar Kurt's neighbor's slot.
