Hi guys,

I'm from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I bought my first car (a 1991 E36 325i sedan) now exactly 1 year ago and am fairly happy with it. I say fairly since I love the BMW and enjoy driving it very much, but I bought the car rather impulsively from a 2nd hand cardealer without really checking things out first (viz a 22 year old testdriving a 325i, having previously only driven 1.x diesel cars.. I had a huge grin on my face the entire time :D .) However, since my purchase I have had to replace just about every part of the car since the previous owner had neglected and raped the car quite badly. Among other things, he had cut all the springs and combined them with German M3 shocks to make them fit. (I have since replaced these with G&M sports springs and shocks). Also the brakes (pads and discs), handbreak, fuelcables and more have had to be replaced.

So now that I'm older and wiser (..) I'm going to clean the car up a bit and sell it and get me a slightly newer !and much better tested! E36. I have seen some ads for some very nice ones which are supposedly dealer maintained..

Heh, at least I now know what things to check in an E36 since I know what the problem-areas are :) (I also bought the maintenance manuals of the E36 (Haynes) and am reading them now.)

I just saw a black Alpina B10 3.3 parked around the corner.. I have a goal in life now :) But first the new 325..

Ye i like the rims on ma car think they look good in real they look much better than on the pics and ma car aint a clubsport model. the rear spoiler is an AC S spoiler.

Well, I am American and in the Air Force. I just found out I will be stationed at RAF Lakenheath in Feb 07. Can't wait to get back to Europe.
