Where do you take your bimmer? I'm looking for a good place to get the regular maintenance stuff done.

I live in sugarland/stafford area.

There are a number of good shops around but most of the ones I know are on the north side. I use Matthews Auto www.matthews-auto.com or Bimmer Workshop www.bimmerworkshop.com and have had great luck at both. Like I said though, they are both on the north side.

I know a bunch of guys that go to Bavarian Machine Specialties www.bavarianmachine.com and Texas German Autohouse www.t-g-a.com also but I have no personal experience with either of them.

Hopefully somebody from the south side of town will respond with some closer recommendations.

I take my 1988 (e28) 535IS to eurocar-werk, At Gulfton & Rice. Close to 59 & 610 west loop. They have replaced Synchros and installed BavAuto lowering Suspension as well as inspection II. Job is done right, never cuts corners and always keeps the customer informed.

I'll second this one. David just built the s14 for my M3. If you don't want to drive that far there is a shop off Fountainview north of 59 called Munich Motorwerk that did a lot of work on my convertible back before I had a place to work on my own stuff.

I have always just hit BMW West but would love a lower cost alternative if anyone knows of a place on the west side
