Trying to replace my front rotors before going to the track this afternoon, and I can't get them off the hub. I've pulled the screws, but the rotors seem rusted in place on the hub. I hesitate to put any PB Blaster down in the area of my brakes, but beating them with a rubber mallet is getting me nowhere.

Any suggestions?

Bang harder? :) If the screw is indeed off... and I hope the caliper and pads are off too ( lol.. ) then you may as well just beat the hell out of them! It also wouldn't hurt to PB blaster the mounting surface a bit from wherever you can.

The rubber mallet won't get you anywhere if they are really stuck. Use a hammer. Hit the rotor around the center on the mounting surface - not the braking surface. Sometimes you have to beat the heck out of them to get them to break loose.
