While driving to meet up with some people, I tried to make this one light I know that takes for ever. I end up not making it and making a rukus in the process. Some guy in a yellow WRX wagon notices and pulls up in the turn lane next to me. He laughs when he looks and sees me driving(I look young), he revs his engine. In his passenger seat I presume was his girlfriend.
When the light finally turns green, we both take off normal and when we hit the straight he punches it, I am hesitant but since no cars were in front of us and no one was around I figured why the hell not. I floor it, chirp second and by this time he got a tiny jump on me and I would figure he would keep pulling. I keep going and by the time I get to the top of second and go into third I got him by about 1 1/2 cars by the mid to top of third. I was very surprised, he drove by giving me the thumbs up and we went on our merry way. My 2.8 is stock(97) and I presume he was stock as well.
