On my 89 735il, my hazards come on when I either open the drivers door, or when the wipers are on delay mode either when you put them on manually, or when the wipers are on low and you come to a stop and they switch to delay. One thing that I did notice is that the pot metal bracket that holds the drivers door handle has cracked, but everything seems to be lined up and somewhat sturdy. Any ideas and or thoughts would be so helpful!
Is this the crash alarm relay? I have not heard people having the wiper issue with this relay.

Had that, solved it.
Pull the crash alarm relay and see if it is gone. It was the troublemaker on my car
