I was on HWY 13 last night headed to the tavern, for those ofyou who live in ATL you know that HWY 13 has that nice loooong sweeping right hander when getting from West Peachtree. Well I was driving a bit spiritedly and I see a pair of head lights coming around the turn quickly as well.

I wait and the car pullsup next to me and then passes me. I get behind him and we both nail it at the same time. I can tell he is going for it all from the carbon I can smell. So I drop it into 5th and get on it a little harder. He dosent pull and i dont pull. Then an opening in the traffic opens up. I am still behind him and we both nail it again. I drop it into 4th this time and through 4th no one gains. When I hit fifth I started inching back up to him, then as i was gaining more momentum and starting to get within about 1/2 CL my limiter kicked in at 130. I am very intrested to see how the race would have turnedout with out the limiter.

R32's are great cars. i wish they had 100 more ponies but the potential of that platform is great. sounds like a great race. had you had the limiter removed, you probably would have had him over 140 because the R is AWD so you tend to have more drivetrain loss in HP.

300hp would actually be good in the car all motor.

I think this was the guy in the R32...

I raced an R32 last summer in my M3 before I did the M50 mani and I pulled him pretty good several times. My car had software, AA air box, and exhaust. The kid was cool though and it is a great looking car. I think the weight of the AWD hurts it though.

The R32 is an amazing machine, cant wait to see a supercharged one, one day..Anywho, lets not forget. Just because a car has awd, does not mean drivetrain loss increases at greater speeds:nono , the drivetrain loss is the same at 20mph and 200mph. However, it is heavier:( making it 'harder' to acheive higher speeds. Just a lil sumpin new to know
