Hi folks:

I just took delivery of my 335i last week and still trying to get used to some of the features of the car. Apparently, I could not find any info (even in the manual) regarding the steering wheel lock. I've asked my sales guy and he didn't know it either. Question is "how do you lock the steering wheel?"

Could any of you pls help?

i'm not sure about the 335, but I would assume it's like every other E90. when you take out the key, there will be an audible clunk as an electric solenoid inserts a metal pin into the locks on the steering column.

but if yours never locks, either there's a problem, or BMW got rid of it because they were having problems from it. I personally have replaced about 4 steering columns in E90's due to faults in the steering lock system.
