Im considering picking up this E28 in hapeville, GA (by the airport) and towing the car back up to either clemson or my parents house (most likely clemson) but yeah. Ide perfer to borrow someones trailer cause i hate Uhaul and theyre expensive as balls.

Make sure the trailer has a gun turret since you're going to Hapeville.

call thomas at autofab. They have 2 and prolly willing to let you borrow it and if not free be cheaper than Uhaul.

No offense...I am sure Bill would let you borrow his trailer. If you are really nice...he will let you borrow his truck. If you are really really nice...he will drive it up there for you! IIRC

You can borrow mine for free, but it needs some work, a little welding and fabricating, maybe tires. Probably better off with U-haul :-)

You can rent a full car trailer from uhaul for 40-50 a day, I can't remember exactly, that's how I got my e30 from Tennessee... if you're feeling really lucky... I pulled a Ford Explorer with my old e30, it was only about 20 miles, but it worked great... :D

What would you rather have a GUY on his hummer. I know its Atlanta and all but I prefer a woman on my hummer.

Having a vehicle to tow isn't the problem, like Dave said, his dad's expedition will be just fine, I think he was just looking for a trailer cheaper than Uhaul... I guess Uhaul it is!

I didn't have a tow hook on my bimmer... I used the tie down hook on the rear... totally illegal... and not really safe at all... but it was a must do kind of thing...

that's awesome... and the trip from savannah at 65-70mph was probably close to 4.5-5 hours huh? e30 = amazing...

I can possibly help you move the car sometime Tuesday. I have been watching your thread and it looks like you are having no luck. I hope to hit the local dyno Tuesday morning, so anytime after 11:00 or so could be good. I am only willing to move from Hapeville to Duluth though,....... sorry. PM me with some details, and I will let you know.

Which dyno? If it's one of the ones in Marietta, can I come by?

I will be going to Atlanta Chassis Dyno in Covington. They are about 9 miles from me, plus that is where I've done all my previous pulls. You are more than welcome to come by there.

Ahh, wish I could. I need to be at work in Marietta at some sort of reasonable hour and I can't get there from Covington very fast. Thanks anyway.

I am testing my new tune. I've got about 165 miles on the reprogramming, along with 3.5 hfm and 42lb injectors.

Last visit was 338, maybe a little more now:dunno

We did between 80-85 all the way to Roebling and back and it was great!
