My dad has a red 79 M635csi Right now its got the motor pulled and tranny pulled and the interior yanked out of it. Im trying to get him to pick a color so i can send the shell out and have it media blasted and repair a the 3 spots of rust we have found so far and shoot the whole car. The color to start with was a silver of somekind(found it under the red) now its red and we dont know what shade. Were trying to restore the car but he keeps changing his mind. I want to see some pics in blacks, blues, red, white, with big wheels and a nice drop if possible. Were going to see what we can do with some 18inch Mpar. or some BBS mesh. the sad state the car is in now.

What i would like the car to look like with a bit bigger wheel and a good drop.

Im a huge fan of custom arch work and polished bays.

BTW if anyone has pics of a stock euro rhd car id like to see them. My dads car was imported and we have all the paper work from them swapping it to lhd and adding US parts except the cluster and some dash parts that are not in english. I know they added the lights on the fenders and 1/4's cause the cuts are done poorly and the lights are not exactly in the same spot on both sides.

Gday Russell,

Check these two threads for a good variety of E24 pics.

As for RHD euros, check through some of my posts if you like. There's various pictures of my 635 and 633, and pictures of cars belonging to some of my mates. Australian vehicles are RHD and have not had the US federalising done to them.

These are my two most recent threads...

Thanks, I have to say this car is exactly what made me want a bimmer.

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a56/jjje28/436316115ihdRzB_fs.jpg Honestly i had barrowed a friends e36m3 for a week and hated it. Time have changed and i love my e36 and im falling in love more and more with the 6er. I was trying to find a tranny for my dad for an Xmas present and saw e34's and e39's and i wanted one but couldnt find what i wanted so i got the e36.

He got the car from a friend of mine who was building it. The first time i saw the car i hated it. I drove it after it started growing on me and fell in love with it. i drove the car any time he would let me and loved everysecond of it. I may try to find one to build for myself cause i know my dad and i wont see eye to eye on the build.
