Now that the conversion is complete, I am looking for a person to spray the car. Anyone have any recommendations for an excellent painter in the Atl. area?

I'd happily bring her out anywhere there were fellow BMW fans gathering. I've been thinking about organizing a 'beer-and-bull' night at Fuddrucker's on Lavista in Tucker - only because they A) Sell beer, and B) have a massive parking lot that is rarely more than 1/4 full.

As for the color - I wouldn't dream of changing it. Sticking with the Alpine white, but I do want to get the lowers painted as well. There is also one rust spot on the lower corner of the pass. door from the old trim that I'd need repaired....

Do you still have those kick-panels for sale?

Be careful parking in that lot or the lot behind it. Had my truck broken into, damaged both doors $2k, took a gps, cell phone and M coupe keys. Not a good day. Lots of shady folks walking in that area at night.

I just got done reading the entire thread on your swap and I really enjoyed it. Glad you got everything to work out so well. Now if only I can get a ride along. I would really like to feel the 80 - 100+ pull.

Call Ken or Mike Cottrell at Sentry Body & Paint, 770-279-2386. They are on Lilburn Industrial Way, and do many racecars and street cars.

Thanks for the props, folks.

I live in Tucker. As for the M50 - it's sitting on a stand in the corner of my garage. Right next to the pile of OBDII parts I didn't use....

Thanks Atl530 and 95LTW (and the rest of you all). It's nice to have your peers appreciate something you do. As for the perfect-running M50 I removed - I have not decided what I am going to do with it. If any of you locals want it, shoot me an offer.

Beautiful finished product! Performance Auto Collison in Roswell has done some good work for a few Porsche guys I know, check them out.

If you decide to sell the M50 head, please let me know!
