View Full Version : first real defeat...
London07 05-14-2007, 10:52 PM so i pull up to a light, and what looks like a new 3 series pulls up behind me. the light turns green, i floor it, and to my surprise he keeps up with me inch for inch.
so we get to the next light and he pulls up to my left. i look over and to my joy/dismay, i see chromed on his fender M5 V10...(i drive a E36 M3).
so i figure screw it, the light turns green, i floor it, and, well... you know the rest. it wasnt even close. he didnt open a can of whoop ass, he opened the whole case. we get to the next light and i look over at him (an old man grining ear to ear) i smile back at him sheepishly. we had an M car connection, an ugly one. but still a connection. i wouldnt want to be beaten by anything else. so i made a right into a housing development that i had no business being in, to gather my wits and forgive my car for letting me down. we've since made up... i love my M3, one day i'll have an M5...
Rogozhin 05-14-2007, 10:56 PM What do you want from your life?
To roll heavy on any car you race or to enjoy a drive with you wife and children on a soft sunday afternoon?
That post of yours is somehow very sad-but godspeed regardless.

Our cars will be worth nothing in the next 5 years-unless BMW can produce a M3 that is able to ron on voil, solar, hydrogen, and diesel.
I'm all about pics and videos-please post some OP.

This is classic. I've done that before a couple of times. One time, I lost to a...sigh :embarrasm...girl in a CLK. I put my tail between my legs, and turned where I had no business turning.

this quy is great at saying absolutely nothing and making sure no one knows what he's talking about. am i just retarded, or does everyone else have trouble understanding what he is trying to say? chill out with the hyphen too, theres a time and a place for that character. i doesnt conjoin <--(spelling?) two words that you feel like joining up. "desktop-and" and "girls-just" dont need to be conjoined.... damn. i feel better now. long day at work.
And what the hell is a D70 and a 'view property'?
Spoolin' 05-15-2007, 04:09 PM Im pretty sure a d70 is a camera.

When he first joined his signature was a quote from Thus Spoke Zarathustra by Nietzsche, he got flamed and pulled it (realizing that unlike whatever forums he trolled before this one, there's some reaaaaaaaaally smart people here). Being pedantic, Nietzsche was a master stylist and used hyphens and such to great effect--this guy is blatantly trying to copy that writing style and I'm pretty sure he's also hoping that being overly vague will be confused with being deep and/or interesting.
London07 05-15-2007, 04:17 PM its pretty funny. on his personal-profile, under-occupation, it says CEO... hmmm. me-thinks-not. i like how he uses english-slang too. nice touch. whatever, to summarize my original post. i got in a race with an amazing car and got my ass handed to me, at least it was by another B-M-W.
using hyphens if fun. feel smarter already i do. time to go clean the car, i wish my wife was as dirty as her.

:lol in the words of a not-so-great typist whose error will live on forever in the hearts and minds of bimmerforumists everywhere, "PWNED!"
too bad the CEO is suspended. I await his futile attempt at a witty, coherent response with baited breath.
OP... great writeup!
ohnoes 05-19-2007, 11:02 AM Wow, I contracted an acute case of the laughs from this thread. Nietzsche worshippers--gotta love 'em. :rofl
