No idea why the chip says 506 crossed out and 413 written, it was put on by the previous owner(reprogrammed maybe?), This came off my last m3 which was wrecked and my new m3 is a 506 so this chip doesnt work with it. I can tell you for sure my last one was a 413 (i had to take out the DME to pull this) and everything ran fine with the chip and hfm.

would prefer local pickup due to bad experience with shipping companies breaking stuff (and the chip is fragile) but I will ship if need be.

pics of the chip? Was it off a sliver tab dme, or a red tab 413 dme?

It came on my last car, pretty sure it was a red label 12/95 production(not positive about the red label part). ill get a pic up later tonight.

There is a part number on the HFM but nothing on the chip
