Edit: Upon research looks like my price was a little high.

This is a Powerdyne based supercharger. It is currently installed in my car. I have decided to go a different direction so off it goes. This kit will be complete with the ECU. I can not make any guarantees that the ECU will work in your vehicle. It is currently installed in my 99 M3. I was planning on sending the Unit for rebuild but decided to remove the whole kit. Kit makes 5.5 psi to my guage.

$2500/OBO

I will be removing this from my car this week or next week and will post pics the components.

How much boost is this setup capable of making? Do you know what kind of power you are/were putting down? Did you use aftermarket injectors?

My boost guage would hit around 5.5psi. I have heard of people going up to 9psi. You would want to rebuild with ceramic bearings and wider belt. www.superchargerrebuilds.com.

The kit is complete, including injectors and ecu. You would need to align your car to the ecu.

the rebuild is not $1000..

if it is a complete kit, and the sw will work for your car, then $2500 is a good deal

Good luck with the sale

Yes, however the ECU would not work and you would have to buy software.

There is a pending sale. I should know on Saturday.

^^^The stock tubing was looking pretty bad. I got this to replace it. It does not deform like the other piping.

Im very interested. If i wanted to turn that boost up a little bit, what would i have to do? (FI noob)

99M3Riverside
06-06-2007, 04:17 PM
I have heard of people running upto 9psi on the Powerdyne. It would be recommended with the rebuild that you go with ceramic bearings and the wider kevlar belt. The other issue with increasing boost is increased heat, this is were water injection or an RMS aftercooler come in.

06-06-2007, 05:17 PM
Ok so. I am officially out for the count on this kit. I couldnt get financed.:(

99M3Riverside

This is not oil cooled, nor does it have an aftercooler.

Just so you know these setups regurarly go for 3K + on Ebay, I personaly sold mine for 3600 and it didnt have the ECU. Maybe that should be your next option.

I don't plan on moving far from that number. I think with the software and ECU it is still a pretty good deal.

I belive yours is an e46 platform. My bet is it would not work. Someone else might be able to better answer this.

Would this work on a 2000 M Roadster? I'm not sure if the ECU would need any changes.
