I was thinking about gettin 19 inch wheels for my 335i coupe, but have heard that they ruin the ride and hamper performance. I just wanted an opinion on the pros vs. cons of getting 19 inch wheels for my car. I really want to get wheels for my car but if there is a significant decrease in ride quality and performance then i'd rather stick with my stock wheels.

First of whoever told you that adding an inch to a wheel size ruins anything is probably 120 years old. They will feel fine, depending on the tire choice you might even think they feel better. Run flats have a harder sidewall and tend to ride harder than they are.

Adding an inch is really only adding .5 inches to each side of the wheel and depending on the style people would never know. I had 20s on my Z and people thought they were 19.

what about getting 19's with wider wheels than stock?

What are you worried about, quicker response? More grip from a wider rear? Obviously if the wheels weigh a lot more than the ones you have you will lose power. How much? Depends on the weight difference. I could feel the difference in my Z and it was twin turbo, 340whp (380hp) and when I went to 20s I could feel it lose some punch, but if you stay within a few pounds of stock (which I think are cast and heavy anyway) you won't be able to tell.

The wheels you listed are all forged and will be lighter than the factor wheels.
