any idea how you might retrofit factory nac to an 03 x5? doesn it involve yanking out the dash and has anyone ever had nav added after the fact? costs? I know its not the normal mod versus buying a tomtom or soem other "stick to the windshield" kind of gadget but can it be done and what might it cost ?? thoughts ?? is the shark fin required ??

Yes it can be done. But cost runs in the 5-6 grand range and good luck finding a dealer that will actually agree to it.

I have seen one person that did it themselves. Took like 3 guys and a weekend, so that wasnt too bad.
