I was driving back from visiting the girlfriend to Greenville, SC on Monday night. I was going about 80ish when I came upon a new(er) honda accord that just merged onto the interstate (I-85?). Anyway this accord was going pretty fast about 85ish and I decided to catch up to him and see if he wanted to play.

Well I got up next to him and he accelerated a little and slowed down like he felt like playing. And I was thinking :buttrock So anyway I started to accelerate a little and he did too and he kept right next to me. So at about 85ish I FLOORED it and WALKED that accord. I made it up to 125mph and slammed on the brakes cause other cars were coming up and looked out my passenger window and saw the accord do a FAST fly-by.

I was looking up the motor specs and i saw he had the duel exhaust so he at least had one of the v-6 motors. what do you guys think? I know i got a little bit of a jump on him but i know when he flew by he was doing way over 100mph so it was a legit race. anyone else have any races with new accords?

hmmm. . i know he had the dual exhaust... don't the 4 cylinders only have one out the back?

oh and the accord v-6 would have 244 at the crank
i would have 189 at the crank.. . just to clarify... but yea, it didn't make much sense to me either... maybe i got better gearing up top?

ok im doing some homework.. car and driver has the accord doing 15.1 in the 1/4 mile with the v-6 motor. so... maybe the bimmer is just better at interstate speeds? (the accord does 6.6 0-60 though)
