I don't think the 2003 came with bluetooth. Probably have to go aftermarket.

I *think* the handsfree is for a setup that's normally installed in the center console where you would then place your cell phone.

yeah, I really don't think 03 X5's had it, but I can't say for 100%. It may be able to be retrofitted. call your dealer's parts department and inquire.

I spoke to my BMW Technician about this Friday. He can update my whole nav system with the newer color display with bluetooth for $2k installed.

I went to BMW and they didn't tell me that they could do it... they said that the phone hookup for my motorola razr doesn't fit for an 03...Also anyone know where to get an aftermarket one.
