View Full Version : B'ham, anyone have E36 17-18" rims WTS? madsedan 05-11-2007, 02:15 PM I am going to sell my contours and want somethgin different, stock or oem, let me know what you got for my 99 m3. Fusion325i 05-11-2007, 03:39 PM ive got the 03 330ci 17s on my car with new tires madsedan 05-11-2007, 03:41 PM Thanks but I need something wider. My next project I'm going to try and fit 26's on the M3, I think if I tub the back end and the front inner fenders I can get it to fit with my airbags. Cause you know I roll with 16 switches, bitches! cipher982 05-11-2007, 04:58 PM I still have my old, scratched up 15" pieces of crap. How much you letting the contours go for? Fusion325i 05-11-2007, 06:02 PM what size tire do you want to run or what size wheels are you looking for woky 05-11-2007, 06:33 PM Hey slow down on the contours. I need a set, and would be willing to come look at them, unless you've sold them already. I need a set of track tires. OMGWTFBODY 05-11-2007, 07:24 PM I'll sell you some chrome TA wheelz. Try Saab Tire. They usually have some pretty good aftermarket stuff. They're downtown in Birmingham, and most of the BMWCCA guys I know go there for wheels/tires. JuliusPleaser 05-13-2007, 11:51 AM There's a guy in Nashvegas that's selling a set of 18 inch AC Schnitzers for $650. Awesome price - if you can deal with chrome. EDIT: Too late. They're gone. madsedan 05-13-2007, 02:33 PM Chrome FTL! Yeah, there's a reason they went so cheap. JuliusPleaser 05-13-2007, 09:41 PM True. I'm no fan of chrome, but they were exceptionally nice. I almost tripped up to N'ville to pick them up, but Fate had other plans for me. miklm 05-14-2007, 09:41 PM Chrome FTL! Yeah, there's a reason they went so cheap. Chrome blows. Plus, I hate that ACS style. Sam Hamm 05-30-2007, 06:39 PM ive got some bbs rs's but i dont know if i want to sell madsedan 05-31-2007, 07:58 AM I bought some Kosei 17x8.5 K1's yesterday. woky 05-31-2007, 09:01 AM What color, how much did you pay, and are you pleased? I'd not mind seeing them on your car. madsedan 05-31-2007, 09:07 AM Dam Yoda, had to read that twice to understand ;) They are coming from Scho over in Dallas and will be here in a few days by fedex ground. they are in perfect condition and the factory silver color, I may be painting them black with a red lip, should look cool on my black M. I could use a good pair of 235/40 or 245/40 tires if someone has a pair they want to sell. What color, how much did you pay, and are you pleased? I'd not mind seeing them on your car. mcbk1452 05-31-2007, 08:49 PM I may be selling the m3 at the end of summer along with all the goodies (extra rims, etc) associated with it. miklm 05-31-2007, 08:51 PM I may be selling the m3 at the end of summer along with all the goodies (extra rims, etc) associated with it. Are you selling it all together, or splitting the extras up from the car? Either way, let me know what you've got & how much... Why ya selling? miklm 05-31-2007, 08:55 PM I could use a good pair of 235/40 or 245/40 tires if someone has a pair they want to sell. I've got a pair of OE Dunlop 8080E 245/40/17 at about 40%, one may have a knot in it though, but you can have the pair CHEAP if you want them. I've gone away from the staggered setup. mcbk1452 05-31-2007, 09:04 PM I don't really have time to enjoy the car as much as the money spent on it prepping it up over the years. It's been prepped up to be a track car. Yet, as I sit here in my Real Estate Transaction class, realistically, I probably won't have time this year for the car to see the track again. It may see one auto-x session this summer. I don't have any plans of becoming a weekend track racer and compete against others. I just enjoy spirited driving around whatever curvy, windy roads around. Spending a whole weekend at DE last weekend just opened my eyes to teh fact that "damn, this is a lot of work and there's more other outdoorsy things that I'd like to do.." I'll have to start preparing for the Patent Exam later this year and plan on taking the exam and passing it early next year. Then, I'll have to gear up after next spring(patent exam) to start reviewing for the Alabama bar exam which I'll take in '09. yada yada. In the meantime, I haven't even rode my new montain bike yet that I bought a month ago. There's tons of things I want to do this summer: mt biking, kayaking, white water rafting...my "FUN" time will be cut short once I start a new career in the legal field. Thus, I'm trying to cram as much fun stuff before 09. I'll most likely buy another sports car again after I graduate but most likely won't be a bmw though. But i'm keeping this 325i for awhile. Again, I digress. miklm 05-31-2007, 09:14 PM I don't have any plans of becoming a weekend track racer and compete against others. Spending a whole weekend at DE last weekend just opened my eyes to teh fact that "damn, this is a lot of work and there's more other outdoorsy things that I'd like to do.." I can understand that. Maybe not fully relate, because I left there Sunday night thinking, "Man, I would be back to do this all weekend, every weekend for the rest of the summer -- I gotta get FASTER out there!" but its all about priorities. I don't have to worry about school, my job allows me time to get to the track on weekends, and if I land this new job (fingers crossed!) I'll be moving to Birmingham and be even closer to Barber and hopefully bringing in more money to permit doing every club track weekend there (PBOC, Chin, BMW, Audi, Porsche...) and I am looking at SPEC E36 for my car. Especially if my brother follows through on getting his own E36, I can't think of more fun than being out there with him and more of my friends and spending a weekend at the track. Then there's still Road ATL, Tally, etc etc. mcbk1452 05-31-2007, 11:02 PM I can understand that. If all I had to worry about was the job then I'd be out there all the time. Yeah, the older you get the priorities changes. Holla. |
